We ordered an oak coat rack finished in walnut with brass hardware. We really like the aesthetic and found it very reasonably priced.

The timbers were finished perfectly. Great attention to detail in the symmetry of the cuts, and a very smooth and even sanding and staining. The unit is solid as a rock and feels very robust, we're not worried about the weight of heavier coats or bags at all. The screw caps fit perfectly snug while still being thumb pushable. Great craftsmanship overall.

As with anything wall mounted, the most concerning part is the point of contact. Our rack included solid screws (I didn't measure but I'd reckon 5x60 countersunk or thereabouts), rawl plugs for studs/brick and anchors for hollow plaster which was a lovely addition.

The unit was packaged immaculately and felt very professional. It was delivered ahead of estimate and we were kept in the loop at each stage of completion/dispatch/delivery.

If you've seen something from the old oak barrel that matches the aesthetic you're after and fits your budget, there is absolutely no reason not to go ahead and order it.

Exactly what I wanted - excellent product even my teenage granddaughter remarked how nice it was. Delivered to promised time.

You don't know how important a beautiful, minimal, solid and reliable hook stand is until you get one. Its made a big difference to our entrance hall - we can shove heavy coats and bags on it and feel like it will absolutely hold solid. thanks
